One of my favorite things about being a stay at home mom is that I get to take my little cowboy to do fun stuff in the middle of the week when every body else is at work. Our last field trip was to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We have been before but it NEVER gets old. The sea horse and Jelly fish exhibit are totally worth the drive (two hours) and the admission.
The very best sister in the whole world went with me too. What more could you ask for? Oh, did you say shopping on Canary Row. Well yes of course we did that too. And no we did not forget to stop at the candy store and pick up some salt water taffy. Mmmm.

Good to hear from MIS. We still LOVE that aquarium, glad you guys had fun. The jelly fish are some of our favorites too, whether in Monterey or another aquarium, we can't get enough!
We love mid-week outings too. I recently had the day off for a holiday and went to Chuck E Cheese. It was the only kind of/sort of tolerable trip we've had to that place. Mid-week ski outings are great too. We leave tomorrow for an outing and I hope no one gets wrapped around a tree :P
