Just cuz.

Just cuz I have a few minuets I thought I would tell you all what went on this weekend. We moved our precious ponies once again. This time to a wonderful barn (not that I didn't like the last one. It was just so fucking hot). It is so perfect. Mom's little horse is so happy he don't know what to do with himself. He has a great big paddock and his own pony. Bob is still looking a little worried but when I rode him he couldn't have been more perfect. Maybe he's nervous that I will take him back to the "hot box". I have decided to show this month. YIKES!!! I admittedly am a little nervous. I haven't shown in two whole years. We are taking the littlest cowboy which should be interesting. I have never shown with a baby before. I keep telling myself that I am very good at what I do. Hopefully I will start listening soon. Bob and I have had some bad luck at the place I'll be showing in the last couple years. Hopefully a little time off and the tune up I gave him will be helpful.
A friend of mine. (The one that owns the barn where I now board) just got back from a show in Rancho Murietta. It's usual class size for walk/jog for this particular show (Golden Grand) is 30 to 40 people. This time she said there was only about 20 people in her classes. I can't wait to see how many people are at the Brookside show (where I will be showing). Smaller classes are OK with me this year. Course that doesn't make people trying to qualify for world very happy. Oh well for them.

From the ends of the earth

Hey everyone. I just got back from the ends of the earth. Just kiddin. I have just been so crazy busy with a kid and summer time that I don't have time to just sit down and write.
Lets catch up shall we? So TLC turned one in June. I can't believe how fast a year go's. We had a great party for him. Of course it was on the frickin hottest day of the year. He had a great time though. He's such a little partier. (No idea where he gets it) The Hunter and I had our 3rd year marriage anniversary. Yep we made it three years without firing any weapons at each other. I still have to sometimes reminde myself that would be not only wrong but illegal. (He's also a better shot then me so I would have to use the scatter gun and that could get messy.) We took TLC camping for the first time at a place called Lake Prosser which is just around the corner from where the Donner party all died. In the summer it's very nice. He loved it. I don't think I have ever seen a dirtier child though. The Martinez Horsemen had the annual Battle of the Barns and it was great. Vaquero Girl had a birthday, and last night we (Vaquero Girl and I) went and saw Jewel in concert at the Warfield in San Fransisco. She was amazing. She is truly a gifted singer. It was just her and her guitar. That's really all she needs. I decided that I want to be Jewel when I grow up. Not only is she married to the king of the cowboys, lives on a gorgeous ranch, but she also has an amazing voice, is funny and has a successful singing career. Lucky little bitch! She's better then Barbie. I have decided to take Bar Hoppin Bob to a show next month. Yikes! We haven't been anywhere in two years. Should be a really adventure. We will also be bringing my one year old son. Wow talk about throwing in some challenges. I am also excited because I bought mom tickets to Wicked for her birthday and we get to go see that next week. Woo Hoo. I feel all sophisticated and shit. Any way hope every body else is good.
